Delray Beach Limo Service: Airport Rides Done Right
Updated by the Sky Limo Service dispatch team

Delray Beach is one of the few towns in south Palm Beach County where both airports are genuinely in play. Palm Beach International sits about 20 miles north; Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International is about 35 miles south. We run cars in both directions every week, and the right choice usually comes down to your airline and your flight time, not the distance.
PBI or FLL from Delray Beach
| Airport | Road miles | Typical drive | Sedan fare |
|---|---|---|---|
| PBI | ~20 | 30–35 min via I-95 N | from $89 |
| FLL | ~35 | 45–55 min via I-95 S | from $129 |
PBI is a single compact terminal with Concourses A, B, and C — you can be at your gate 25 minutes after curbside. FLL has more nonstop options and lower fares on Spirit and JetBlue, but it also has heavier curb traffic, especially at Terminal 4. If your flight leaves before 7 a.m., the quieter PBI curb is worth real money in saved stress.
Pickups around town
Delray pickups break into three patterns:
- Atlantic Avenue and the beach corridor. Hotels and condos east of the Intracoastal. We stage on side streets and text when we’re out front — Atlantic itself is slow on weekend evenings, so we build in a few extra minutes.
- Downtown and Pineapple Grove. Straightforward door pickups; give us the building entrance you actually use.
- Communities west of I-95. Gate codes matter. Add yours to the booking notes and the driver won’t be stuck calling you at 4:45 a.m.
Rush hour on I-95 runs roughly 7–9 a.m. southbound and 4–6:30 p.m. northbound through Boca Raton. For a morning FLL departure, we recommend leaving Delray 2 hours and 45 minutes before an international flight, 2 hours 15 minutes before a domestic one.
What the fixed quote covers
Every booking is a flat, all-inclusive number: vehicle, chauffeur, tolls, fuel, and standard waiting time. For airport pickups coming back into Delray, that includes flight tracking and 60 minutes of free wait after the plane is on the ground, with meet and greet at baggage claim. No surge windows, no “demand pricing” — the price you see at booking is the price you pay. Compare vehicle sizes on the fleet page; a standard sedan takes 3 passengers and 3 bags, the SUV takes 6 and 6.
Nearby routes we cover
Delray is the middle of our Palm Beach County coverage. Neighbors to the south use us for the Boynton Beach to FLL run, and we handle taxi and car service in Pompano Beach further down the coast. Cruise passengers heading out of Fort Lauderdale can read our notes on the Boca Raton to Port Everglades transfer — the logistics from Delray are nearly identical, just 10 minutes longer.
